Recruited by board chair to consolidate 26 independent, family-owned
businesses into one national entity, facilitate a pre-negotiated
bankruptcy filing, improve company's balance sheet, and position for
profitable growth and improved shareholder value. Grew business from $600m
to $2.1b in revenue, improved Net Income from -$35m loss to more than
+$78.4m, freed company of debt, and positioned to succeed as a unified
organization. Stock appreciation escalated from $1.15 / share to $50.22.

Inherited a company dramatically losing worldwide market share to a German
